History

RigLift (UK) Limited was established originally in November 1992 to seize opportunity of the ban on R11 and R12 Refrigerants, and later gradually and progressively became specialised in the removal and installation of air conditioning plant as well as in specialised and heavy lifting activities. The removal and installation of air conditioning plant currently represents about 40% of the company's overall business turnover.

Today, RigLift (UK) Limited is predominantly engaged in plant and machinery removals and installations incorporating the supply of skilled certificated plant movement labour and heavy lifting equipment such as cranes, lorry loader transport, general transport, storage, fork lift trucks, light and heavy duty lifting gantries, lifting accessories including certificated chain tackles, web slings, shackles, load spreader beams and lifting frames. Certificated operatives include site supervisors, appointed persons, Lift Supervisors, Lift Coordinators, Plant Operators and Slinger Signallers.

RigLift (UK) Limited supplies its products and provides its services to the Electricity, Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering and Construction Industries. RigLift (UK) Limited has established its reputation as a supplier of specialised and heavy lifting equipment, machinery, plant and accessories, with commitment to total customer satisfaction, continual improvement and professional approach and support.

Although based in the South of England, Rig Lift (UK) Limited undertakes numerous and varied projects across the United Kingdom from its main office in Erith.
